Sea Scene with Boats Freestanding Plaque 'Fair Winds'

A flotilla of sailing boats enjoying a fresh breeze on the sparkling turquoise sea as the pealing waves crash on the sand, literally curling out to create a very textured three dimensional effect. Made from transparent and translucent art glass, cut and arranged by hand before being fired first to fuse and slightly soften the design and another firing process to create the S form for freestanding. In a sunny place light reflects through the transparent glass creating light patterns. Although very similar each individual piece is unique and will vary slightly from the next.
